山本英人（ヤマモトエイジ、滋賀県出身）ドイツ、ザールブリュッケン市在住、写真家、フォトアーティスト。1999年よりドイツ在住。既婚。
これまでに個展やイベントなどでの展示以外に書籍や雑誌、パンフレット、ポスター、チラシ、ポストカードなどの出版物、ドイツ語教科書や教材、CDジャケット、その他テレビや写真スタジオの背景スクリーンに写真を提供している。新聞紙上や雑誌、書物などで紹介され、NHKやJ-waveなど幾度かのラジオ出演がある。
ドイツでは人物撮影を中心にポートレイト・フォトグラファー、現地ウエディングフォトグラファーとして活動。 Website in German（ドイツの仕事のサイト）
写真活動の傍ら現地にて公認歴史ガイドとして国際的なイベントでの講師や歴史観光ジャーナリストとして月刊誌に連載。また複数の国会議員からなる内閣委員会のドイツ視察における講師を務める。
旅行等の同行撮影ではドイツ国内以外にフランス、ルクセンブルク、ベルギー、スイス、オーストリア、リヒテンシュタイン、チェコ、ハンガリー等で経験あり。
趣味はオペラ、バレエ鑑賞。過去最も多い時には月28公演観劇。ケーキを焼くこと。苦くてコクのある濃いコーヒーが好きです。東野圭吾。80年代のメタル音楽。最近のお気に入りはBABYMETAL、ギタリスト足立祐二（DEAD END）。
好きな写真のジャンルはストリートとポートレイト。特に人物。好きな写真は人物や（人が写っていなくても）人が感じられる、人の想いが感じられる写真。例えば、モノでも建築でも、それを作った人のこだわった点や工夫した箇所、またどの角度からそれを見て欲しいか、作者なりの気持ちがあるかと思います。それを意識すると、目の前にあるそれが、単なるモノではなく、作り手の想いがこもったモノに感じられる時があります。写真とは撮影者とその見えない相手との対話だと思います。
意識しているテーマは「想い」。「他人やモノに対する想い」です。「愛おしさ」とも言い換えられます。そこには「愛情」や「友情」、「思いやり」や「やさしさ」があります。そして「思い出す懐かしさ」も。すなわち「想い」とは人を意識するときに出てくる感情です。ただ一言で人を意識するといっても様々な感情がありますが、撮影や作品制作においてはそのなかのポジティブな面を意識して、心が温かくなるものを意識しています。それらの感情は同時に「癒し」「落ち着き」「平穏」「希望」「未来」にも繋がっていきます。そういった想いが感じられるような作品制作を意識しています。
